Hi,

I'm Foley (Andy to others) and I thought i'd eventually get myself a login on this amasing site! I'm in the ATC (enter slagging here) so I know a bit about the RAF.

Feel free to ask any questions or PM me,

Cheers,

Oh dear, the cardinal sin of giving away the full name and location first post!

Prepare for some ribbing my dear Foley.

Welcome anyway, and enjoy.

Mutters: "Bloody spaceys"...

Nice pic indeed. (Stifles giggle)

With that beret he'll never be a Chief Tech anyway. Go Regiment maybe?

MajorGeek: Good spot! So we have a pervert on our hands eh?

Explain yourself Foley! Jazz mags are only about 2 quid these days (So I'm told!)
Even on Spacey pocket money you should surely be able to afford that.
The kinky female e-goat post is for adults only. Even I'm not allowed to look, as mentally I'm not strong enough.

Now get back out on your skateboard or whatever it is you drive!

Did you get A* in your GCSE English, Corporal?

Welcome, ignore the others, they are far to old to remember they even had a youth, let alone what they did during it!!!

Now now Dan, nothing wrong with "I'd"........ (I would, shortens to I'd)...

"Amasing!", now that's different, quite, quite mongy. MLLAAAHHHH!

Spot dan. And also I'd hardly call it an "amasing" site. It's good fun, wastes stacks of time, but "amasing"?

(Apologies wobbly!)

You do have a point there Skevans.

Guess we're all a bunch of Victor Meldrew's now....Oh well!

Ah come on Skevs, he comes on here telling us he knows a bit about the RAF, then tells us he's happy to answer questions?

He deserves some ribbing. And he'd expect nothing less!

He's very welcome anyway, he knows that. I hope.... :PDT_Xtremez_08:

Quite true sir, but as my mum (retired English teacher) would point out, the 'I' (first person pro-noun) is always spelled with a capital.

Quite pedantic, I know, but you try arguing with my mum...it's a 'no-win' situation believe me, and I've had it drummed into me since year dot!

Apologies for the pedantry...sorry Corporal!

Yes, but as he's a Spacey, I know the kind of ribbing some of the Goaters would give him, "for extra pleasure" £2.00 in the pub bogs!

Easy, he's a good kid - I knew him from my cadet days. He's keen as mustard and obviously hasn't got the air cadet Forum to real forces forum transition right yet.

I'll have a chat and explain a bit to him.... :PDT_Xtremez_26:

PS. He also has mega ginger hair - the pic does him no justice. :PDT_Xtremez_30:

Actually no Dantura, I live in Scotland so I do Standard Grades. Plus, I haven't done them yet! However from the sounds of it I could have spelled "i'd" with an h and still have gotten an A!

Regarding the beret, it's the best I can do so far - if I was entitled to wear a beret with the RAF pin badge, I would so!

Regarding knowing some stuff about the RAF, yes I do. Obviously not as much as people currently serving, but enough for me to make my decision to join when I finish my highers (A levels). Feel free to disagree, I expect you to!

Of course I expect some slagging! Just because the Air Cadets are younger, doesn't mean we don't have our fair share of banter. And no, I don't mean the pillow fights, those were scrapped due to health and safety...I only thought It'd be a good idea to join this forum to have a bit o' banter, keep up with the news, and learn a bit more about the "real" side of the RAF. Am I wrong?

And yes, my "folks" do know that I am out of my bed, and they probably don't know what the internet is anyway...

Regarding my visit to a certain thread...meh :PDT_Xtremez_35:

This one's a bit fiery for one so young....................don't look under the bed......................BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
