My name is Lloyd and I am a semi-pro photographer from the West Midlands.

I was hoping to join the RAF as a photographer but due to having asthma I have to wait 2 1/2 years until it is off my medical record.

By trade I am a cityscape and landscape photographer but a hobby of mine is photographing in the mach loop. Here are some images from there

(Hope its okay but I don't know where else to post them)

No problem :PDT_Xtremez_26:

Glad that you both like them :PDT_Xtremez_19:

Great shots...I wonder if the blokes in the Hawk will still be in a job in a couple of months?

Great shots, though Mach Loop looks better when your taking the photos from inside the jet :PDT_Xtremez_42: (did a back seat ride in a hawk though there in the early 90s).

Are you the same bloke who gets the odd phone call about where and when to be, for a few photo's in return. They are good pic's mind.

Excellent snaps. (Whoops, sorry, 'paintings with light').

I have looked for an exact, detailed route for the Mach Loop but cannot find one.

Anyone help?

I have flown the rough route half a dozen times on my Flt Sim, first in a chopper to see where everything is (easy to take a 'wrong' turn) and the rest in an F18. But It is only an educated guess as to exactness.

It is a splendid hour one can have out of Valley and return as a HiLoHi.

Unfortunately not

Some really good pictures there, well done.

Any Harrier pictures? (I realise you won't be able to take any new ones now other than on the ground).
