I appreciate it’s a bit like shutting the barn door after the horse has bolted, as I’ve been a member for a couple of months but I have never been one for reading instructions and so missed the bit about introductions and carried on regardless!!

So hello my name is derived from the fact I used to work on Buccaneers and I am a DF by trade. Have found E-Goat to be a little addictive at times and due to the wide and varied opinions offered from all ranks and trades, I’m hooked.

It is not far removed from an old fashioned T-Bar with good old fashioned banter and non PC attitudes, I look forward to getting to know peoples characters in the future so that a little pi55-take may take place as well. Obviously as a DF I have spent most of my service on the receiving end, but I can give as good as I get.

Hi LQ, I thought shouting was when you type in capitals. I write on a word document (no excuse for sh1t spelling nowadays), then cut and paste into E-Goat. I seem to have gotten into the habit of selecting Ariel font, size 3 (2 seems tiny and 4 too large). When I don’t change it at all after the cut and paste it looks like this (too small, what do you think?). What font and size is your text, it seems to be the norm and I’m all for fitting in.

Bucc Boy you big mentalist your text in that message is exactly the same size and font as LQ in hers and most of the other members of the goat.

I saw all the arrangements going on for the last one and assumed you either had to be from Lyneham or in the 'click'. But seriously, I would love to attend something like that in the future. I already have a few mental images of certain Goaters........Obviously the birds are all gorgeous and the blokes are all beer swilling animals!!

Normally I'd try to avoid intro chat thread replies, but the goat meets are open to any member from any area. I just didn't go because of work and child commitments.
