Great site. Penfold's been suggesting that I drop by for a while.

A little on me...

Still serving. Joined '89.

Joined as a DE into TG1. Didn't last long, techies are a dull bunch. When are they being civilianised? That's right, 1990!

Became a brufen & tubigrip therapist in 1991.

Allowed the RAF to send me to University for 3 years in 1995. Qualified as a Nurse in 1998.

I'm one of the 6 nurses in the RAF that haven't got themselves downgraded to avoid deployment.

4 years, 2months, 2 weeks and a couple of days until I get the ULTIMATE promotion.

That should be contentious enough for an intro. A quick dig at techies, medics and my own trade!

Back to Cpl Techy then in 4 years and a bit? Why wait so long?

Are you fat like Penfold? Do you smell of carbolic? and more to the point why nursing?

Oh hello too

Much, much fatter. I've been spending my entire career trying to keep my BMI in step with my age.

Now I'm in my mid-thirties, it's getting harder to maintain but I'm still managing it!

Why Nursing?

What other trade is there where you surround yourself by young women who don't need to be asked to dress up in a nurse's uniform?
