Hello All.
I'm Mike 19 from Kent ( PM if you want to know more :) ) :PDT_Xtremez_28:
I've been looking at this site for quite some time now and thought I should join it.

Currently working in Booker the Wholesalers (Lots of Sweeties) :PDT_Xtremez_30:

I'm thinking of becoming a Photographer in the Royal Air Force.

What should I expect from this job? Would I be sent to Iraq/Afghan and fight or just take War Photo's?

And whats the policy on Tattoo's?

I can't wait for the replies!!

Just for the record, no one really wants to go to Iraq and Afghanistan, especially to take photos.

They take pictures of most things...

Hand shake photos, Pictures of cracks in / damage to Aircraft, they used to develop HUD film but with the advent of Video I don't think they do that anymore.

Reccce pod photos are done by photogs I think, but don't quote me on it.

I don't think you'll be taking many pictures of firefights though. I could be wrong.

The policy is that to be a photographer you have to have a spider's web tattooed on your face

It sounds like a Cracking Job. I have others in mind as well.

Is there any Photographers on here? :)

I've really wanted to join up since I was about 9 or 10 when I went to RNAS Yevoil to an Airshow with my Uncle


Also I'm an Ex Air Cadet .
