Very few people will know what these are so in short; A hemangioma is an abnormal build up of blood vessels under the skin

If you wish, I will take photos of my back (where they are) for you.

I'm a little worried about failing the medial, as it may count for "abnormal blood clotting" as I do have a few small lumps around the area causing LITTLE swelling of the right hand side of my back...

I must stress that most importantly, I've never had any problems with them at all In my sporting past (rugby, boxing, football) i've never been off of school college or work because of them, and they dont hurt and I cant even feel that they're there...

Will I fail my medical check, even tough they've never affected my life at all?

Thanks everyone.

I've had several removed whilst serving. I wouldn't worry.

Under anesthetic? Or Just drained?

Thanks for your help.

I have looked at the medical requirements to join (Mine are not as upto date as they could be so some one may correct me.) However Provided that your condition is haemagioma and not hemangioma- thrombocytopenia, Then i can see no reason you should fail your medical.
If this is the case then . Just be compleatly honest from the start about them, and make sure you stress the fact that the cause you no problems.
As i say, Im not as upto date as i could be, But hope this helps.
Good luck with your medical.

PM me with your details mate and your medical date and I will speak to my contacts in recruiting and Med Boards and I will get back to you Tuesday or wednesday (I am at a secret base in wiltshire on Monday
