Originally signed up to the forums 10 years ago, but seems I never posted anything.
That's now changed.
I've tried joining the RAF couple of times before (2008 and 2010 respectively), managing to get far as Pre-RTC before medical issue and later fitness issue put paid to both attempts.
Fast forward 10 years and I discovered they've upped the upper age limit to join and thus I'm young enough to enlist again.
So currently in the process of trying to join for the third time and recently smashed my interview, though I need to work on my fitness before I can move forwards.
Fingers crossed, plus some hard work, and perhaps I'll be third time lucky.
Aiming for Cyberspace Communications Specialist (ICT Technician basically).
If there is any interest, I'll post about how the recruitment process has been affected by Covid.
