Hey all im Steven im 19 and from lincolnshire.

I passed the RAF applitude test today. One of the corprals game us this site and suggested to go on here ans speak to people.

Im going in as a steward and i was just wondering if anyone could give me any advice on the interview and how hard or easy the fitness test is.

Hey Steven, welcome to the insight into the RAF :PDT_Xtremez_31: as for the fitness test, it being easy or hard is relative to how fit or unfit you are.

Thanks i no it depends on how fit you are i just dont know what fit is lol. i do, do alot of walking and recently brought a bike to bike to work and try get my fitness level up.

What do they do on the medical?

Welcome aboard Steven, there is loads of information given in the Recruitment forum.

And loads of people who will be more than willing to help answer your questions if you can't find the answers you are looking for.

Got to ask mate - why are you wasting you life as a steward?

2 be honest i have done a job in waitoring and i actually quite liked it. Iv done a few jobs since iv left school and always wanted to work with computers and i was 6 marks away from passing as for Personal Admin but steward is something i wouldnt mind doing.

Just guessing that the 6 marks were in the English Test...

Good luck though

Steven,

One thing that we are quite keen on here, and in the RAF in general is PERSEC or Personal Security. This includes not logging into RAF chat sites that are in public view and giving your full name as your username (notice how all the other users here have really cool screen names).

Can I suggest that you start a new account with a new screen name and start again, then get one of the moderators to delete this thread for you. You shouldn't be giving you full name out on any internet forum or chat site, let alone a military one.

Guys play nicely- if he wants to be a steward then good on him! at laest he wants to serve queen and country :)

welcome to the goat :)
