Hi (again)....no need to be bitter with us, we aint the "normal" RAF community :PDT_Xtremez_30:

Hope you better now....would hope so after £30,000 of our taxpayers money...lol...then again knowing our doctors...NOT

Anyways....CRACK ON.................:PDT_Xtremez_09:

Nah still not right, and the RAF has reached all new heights by declaring my med doc's as SECRET and refusing to release them to my new doctor, who doesn't really believe me and won't give me my pills

Hmmm...Not sure they can do that ? Have you had a word with a solicitor ?...i'm sure one of these free 30 mins consultations is in order and get them to write a nice letter...something along the lines " If the documents are not released withing the next 14 days legal action will be taken against MOD".....just a thought...

Hope it all works out....go get em..

Crack on....:PDT_Xtremez_09:

already tried it to get compensation for some of my illness, still pending

Noodle, you should have posted a while ago, we may have been able to help you earlier.
They can’t with hold your medical docs from you or your new GP.
When you are discharged you (should) have a medical where you complete a form this contains your new address ect and a summary of your medical history for you to hand to you new GP, unless you have stated you do not wish for your medical docs to be available to your new GP.

You can also request a personal set of duplicate medical document to keep your self, by requesting an access to medical document form available from PSF ( although some units will say this is held by the medical centre, ) complete this, have PSF process it, and the medical centre should give you a copy of everything you request within a week.

Are you fully discharged yet?

Yeah I'm fully discharged, didn't have a medical as I was madically discharged.

Last thing I was told was that because the reasons for my PTSD were written in my med doc's I was not allowed access to them and they could not be sent on

Still not convinced.

Still not convinced.

Noodle,

Still not convinced they can do that, how ever been out of the med centre for a while. You may want to PM Oracle; he seems to be up to date with all the rules and regs. He may be able to give you some further advice on how to get a hold of your docs for yourself and your solicitor. If you want to go further with this.
