Hi all, Just taken and passed my apptitute test, hope to be trained as an Aircraft Tech.

Got a killer question on my mind though! How often do the RAF aircraft techs work on boats? I've heard they help out the RN techs? I assume with Sea Harriers and Helis? I'm not the best swimmer in the world!

I wouldn't worry about that to start with.....just get yourself joined up and through training......posting will come.....I believe that all "on board" jobs for the RAF are with Harriers (although been out for a couple of years so that might have changed) but you do get swimming training during trade training (well we did) and once in you could always take a local adult training session.

Please don't worry about water....it really is great and you can get used to it.

Well done for passing the aptitude test.....keep us up to date on how it all goes.

Crack on................... :PDT_Xtremez_09:
