Hi everyone,

Tis me Pikey Mikey, since the goat went down my PVR went through and am now a Mr, spannering Airbus A300s and Boeing 767s, its bloody hard work in civvy street, I actually have to work, and not mince around in a crew room having a brew every 5 mins and getting tabs off people, nevermind at least I get paid overtime now and dont do guard!!

What happened? I didn't think they were going to let you out till sometime next year?

I'm still waiting for my exit date. Logging on to JPA several times an hour to check.
 
I got phoned at home off shift on a Monday by HR and said you can be out by Wednesday, come in and clear, so I did but didnt get a discharge medical and have no discharge papers, strange!!!

Saying that they did offer me a discharge medical but was a week after I had left and were not going to pay my travel expenses, and I wouldnt have been paid by my new employer as I could get time off!

So havent done it.
 
Should have gone for the medical Pickey!

The thing is, if in the future you need to claim from the airforce for anything medical you'll probably have a harder fight on your hands.

Hope you left the shell behind, by the way!
