any tips on interview or anything else? been through it all before and pasted got to halton but dont want to take no chances this time.
Also any Asop's on here?

A tip for interviews: I will say this the way it was said to me in a civvy street meeting fist, then explain why its not as daft as it sounds.

"Pretend there is a ray of light in your chest and you want to shine this light onto the person conducting the interview"

And yes there were a few chuckles on that one.

However! If you actually try this (go on do it now, no one's looking) you will notice a posture change. Your shoulders naturally go back, your head raises and your chest is pushed slightly forward..... my god your sitting confidently like an adult!! Also the bonus is that because there is such a silly way of remembering it you will be smiling thinking of it - another positive in an interview!!

Other than that, just make sure you know what you're talking about in terms of yourself, you never took drugs did you? Nope, good, have to ask. Just kidding, answer honestly, then there is no chance of getting twisted in circles. Ask yourself why you want to join the RAF, then put it through a bullsh!t filter and use what comes out the other end

Sounds like sound advice!

Most important thing is not to bull **** or act like you know everything, you will be found out straight away.

Just relax, you have been there before!:PDT_Xtremez_26:

....in other words, the "Ray of Light" thing, but standing on your head facing the other way?

In today's climate, there are a surprising number of new recruits who have "dabbled" in the softer side of drugs before.

i havent dabble in anything myself, never even tried smoking just not for me.

Its weird even though iv been here done it before im miles more nervous think its the fact that, im 100% more commited this time.
