l joined the RAF in 1960, age 16 1/2 as a Boy Entrant 40th Entry Nursing Attendant at RAF Cosford, after training in 1961 l was posted to RAF Hospital Nocton Hall till 1965.

Then to RAF Tobruk/El Adem, Libya for 2 yrs, then to RAF Bicester for a year. Joined the No. 14 SEN Course at RAF Cosford Hospital, my final posting was RAF Catterick - Demobbed '71.

Oops. I never realised we still had a presence there. Probably due to half the places I was based now being closed. One of them is even being used to rest the trams that Edinburgh may or may not getDT_Xtremez_25:.
