Hi Everyone,
Just to introduce myself I've applied for RAF Regiment officer. The filter interview has been done. Just waiting for a month as I had asthma as a kid (too long a time ago now!) and have to huff into a peak flow meter every day, but the doctor said the results so far are very good, so it shouldn't be a problem. Hopefully waiting for a PROC date after that.

All the best,
Gabhar

Good luck! Why Rock Officer out of interest?

Thanks Obi Wan and Vim_Fuego!

Vim-Fuego, I've applied for Regiment officer because I like keeping fit, and would like to get outdoors as part of the job (been cooped up in a classroom as a primary school teacher for years now!). I had applied to army infantry last year but was >32 by the time the application was processed. Being from the RoI I didn't have the five years residency in the UK, but the AFCO in Belfast let me know that I could apply as the Gardaí (our boys in blue) do whatever checks need to be done. They also let me know that Irish citizens could apply as regiment officer so happy days!
