Hi Folks, Hope you are all well, Since the Queen was offering "Golden Handshakes" last year I was able to bite her 'and orf. Never been happier not having to check me boots for nasty creepy crawly things in the morning. and deal with such things as JPA. Had a total change in career and loving it:PDT_Xtremez_30:

Thanks again Fedup' and Mutty' for the warm welcome. Believe me after 27 years I was ready for it. It was 2nd time lucky though. To be honest, despite all the encouragement and advice from the resettlement gurus I had a few knockbacks, but with perserverance and grit you will get there in the end. Particularly if you are passionate about the kind of job you want.
 
Always good to see another shiney on here, ex- or otherwise. Welcome.

I wasn't eligible to enter the redundancy lottery although I wasn't ready for it at the time anyway. If they offered it to me now on the terms that you were among the last to enjoy I would jump at it.
