It's been 9 years since I decided to leg it away from the RAF-helped by the arrival of the present bunch of clowns who run things over thereDT_Xtremez_34:
Must be a glutton for punishment, as I'm serving with the Kiwi Air Force-yes, we do have oneDT_Xtremez_31:
Since arriving, its been a pleasent surprise to how relaxed things are here, and still the job gets done. Seems to be another rush of ex-RAF people arriving, but there aren't too many of the "Class of 98" still in, i must admit.
As an Avionic's tech, we get do some diverse things, I served in East Timor, spent 3 years on the Navy's frigates, fixing Navy helo's and now have my F/Sgt and am off to get involved in networkingDT_Xtremez_21:
It's a big jump to move over here, but Annie, and I, love the place and the lifestyle.
