as the title says my name is Scott, i'm 19 from Manchester and i have started an application for Air Cartographer in the RAF.

I learned very little from the RAF official website on what roles air cartographers play in the RAF. What i think they do (rightly or wrongly) is they update charts and maps regularly to help the fluid movements of the forces.

But what i'd like to ask to any current serving RAF personnel is; does anyone actually know?

It would help me massively to know more about the trade i have chosen before my filter interview. If anyone could please post on this thread your opinions and views of the air cartographer branch i would love to hear them.

best of luck to any applying to the RAF who read this post
and a huge thank you to current RAF personnel
