I've had a 1968 Daimler 4.2 straight 6 and a 1974 Jag 5.3 V12 in the past and loved them both but got rid when petrol hit £1 a gallon.

Still drive the big cat - I've owned one since I was 24...now mid 40s. Currently own/drive/maintain an XJS - luxury at a reasonable cost!
