Hi there, been using site for a while for some background research on different bases as was applying to MPGS and had to choose preferred locations. Was offered a position at RAF Benson yesterday and paperwork being ok should be there by mid Feb. Hopefully the Mrs and stepson can join me asap though she was told today there is a waiting list...

Any info on the local area and MQ's, where to look for jobs for the Mrs, family activities etc would be greatly appreciated....

Very tight on MQ's at the moment, as for jobs, that depends on what work your Mrs is after. Wallingford is close, with Reading and Oxford as options. You might get offered a quarter in High Wycombe, although this means you would need to drive it does mean there is plenty of job options there as well. PM me if you need more info, I also know the Staffie MPGS here as well if you need any details.
