Navy chiefs ban X-rated films and magazines from nation’s fleet in bid to clean up its image

NAVY chiefs have banned porn and pin-up pics after some crew complained.

Bosses have warned 29,000 sailors they face action if caught watching or downloading pornographic material as the Senior Service bids to clean up its image.

Can't stop chuckling at this. The poor guys (and girls) in the Senior Service.

I don't think I could have got through any of my dets without a cheeky bit of Franky Vaughan. I understand that if you've got some snaggy stuff downloaded, you should be off to jail, but I can't see any harm in some John Pontefract classics.

I like the way it's blamed on 'The Ratings'.... yeah like it's all them..

The biggest Porn-Meister in Kandahar when I in 06 was there was a Wobbling Orange ...quickly followed by Fruit Segment who had a vast array of DVD's with him. Their list of loanees went all the way up to Squabbling Bleeder level.

We all know what the sailors like afterall.... (only from heresay and scutlebutt in crew rooms obviously)

Speaking of which...the scuttlebud around the sub world is that it's a good job most of the attack subs are bust or in maintenance as they don't have enough matlows to sail them...and turning them away from their traditions like watching donkey porn whilst shoving a beetroot up their own and other people's tea towel holders isn't going to help.
 
I can't see this lasting long. The papers'll have a field day when the first complaint about civil liberties is made.
