Is there still a time a limit on claiming Home to Duty after getting posted in to a Unit? I remember in the dim and distant past you had to move out of SLA or SFA within six months to be eligible to claim. I'm thinking of buying a house nearly fifty miles from Camp but I don't think I could afford the extra fuel costs nowadays. I've been at my present Unit nearly two years and I'd be waiting until after the New Year when I return from OOA anyway.

There's no time limit any more Joe. All you'll need is a copy of your current Council tax Bill, in your name.

Your HDT should start from the day you vacate SLA/SFA, so make sure you book a move-out well in advance.
