Housing Association to be subject to FOI

As privately operated companies Housing Associations are not currently subject to Freedom of Information rules and regs despite most of their income coming from Local Authorities. This petition hopes to change that:

This is a subject that is currently very close to me. Unfortunately for legal reasons I cannot go into details but the actions of a housing assciation tenant is affecting my close family.
