I'm curious as to how long the maximum posting at the wing can be for; reason being during my visit a few months back I was told they're trying to cut down on the corporals who have been there for the last 11 or so years.

Was wondering; if I were trying to extend my time there after my first posting, how long and likely would it be to get?

Are you talking about TCW, or 90SU? In theory you could get posted from TCW to FGW & then back to TCW if you tried hard enough.

A couple of months ago the Cpl drafter told us that she treats 90 'as a whole' and that if you are getting to your 4-5 year point then get your preferences sorted as she WILL move you. Longest in post and all that. The clock resets are no more.

Now if you have 'no move' down that may change things but you'd have to get your seniors to get in touch with the drafter to see what the score is.
