Guys,
Appealing for help as I am afraid from work at the mo.
I am a level 7 SGT high pay band and I am promoted to FS next month. Now my understanding is that you must receive a 2% pay rise. However I did 6 months last year Acting paid, I think this is known as SPAR. I was informed by the Chf Clk that this will be recognised when my date kicks in and therefore I will go in at a higher level, due to the backdate being recognised and it will also count towards time served for my rank pension hike.
I have no reason to disbelief this, although asking about it with colleagues etc, it has raised a few eyebrows, mainly what system is in place to action this.
Is it true?
How does it work?
Can I assume that I will get paid level 3 instead of level 2?
Appreciate any pointers.
Many thanks.
