How do you put in Overnight Incidentals on JPA?

Anyone got time to type out an Armourer proof guide please?

Cheers

UK or overseas? This is from memory, so bear with me.

Go to JPA Expenses. Enter new expense claim. Enter type of claim ("other duty travel" more often than not) and Authority for claim.

Make sure you find the 'Receipt-based expenses' tab. There are several ways to do the next bit; this is the way I find causes fewest problems:

Click on the line number, this will take you into the details page. Enter the first date for which you are claiming, then select the expense type - Incidental Expenses UK or Incidental Expenses Overseas. Wait a second for the page to refresh.

Enter the number of days for which you are claiming. In the 'receipt amount' box enter the total amount of incidentals claimed, so if you were away for 5 nights enter £25 (UK) or £50 (overseas). Click on continue.

Once you're happy the claim is complete click confirm and submit. Job done.

Exactly as TBJ says, just make sure you click update before you click continue. This will populate the amount field below the amount you entered. When this figure appears in bold, click continue. It's Flat Rate now, no need for receipts.
