Hello. Been visiting the ARRSE forums until I spotted the link for E-Goat which is what I'd been looking for when I found ARRSE.

Applied to join the RAuxAF as a Gunner in 2503 [County of Lincoln] Squadron. I've had a phone call confirming my application and am just waiting to attend the open day and go on from there.

Thanks for the welcomes! I have no idea what some of you meant in your replies (showing my newbness) because of the lingo, but I'm sure I'll pick it up DT_Xtremez_14:

No 2503 [County of Lincoln] Squadron RAuxAF Regiment is a 'force sustainment Sqn for the RAF Regiment'. I'm sorta going blind into this as I have no real idea of what is involved in the job but it sounds like a challenge.
