Just wanted to say a quick hello to everyone!
Left the mob four years ago (good old redundancy!).
I don't miss picking up spanners at daft o'clock in the morning but I really do miss the craic and the banter (civvy street is not the same!).
I do think service life has given me the edge on those who have never been in!
I can improvise, don't get wound up over every little thing and gained a lot of life experience were some people I now work with haven't been out of Lancashire!
Mind you there was a lot of people like that in Lyneham village and don't get me started on the Bennie's.
