Howdy goaters (as I believe you like to be known).

I have browsed the forums infrequently for quite a while now & decided it was about time I signed up for a membership card. I'm a North East lad who joined the mob as a TG3 type a while ago. I left good old RAF Locking as a mech & got posted onto heavy Radar. I have worked on Radar ever since (barring a couple of 3/4 month holidays in between) at various locations up & down the east coast.

Like a good majority of my brethren, I have the much revered Type 101 Q, among others, so I am eagerly awaiting another little sojourn to the South Atlantic in the near future !

Some people might think I am being deliberately vague in my introduction. You would probably be right as well. Op-sec, loose lips sink ships, beadwindow etc :PDT_Xtremez_30:

I'll see you all in the real forums soon no doubt.

Cheers. It's good to be here ! I have noticed that there seems to be quite a few TG3/4 guys & gals on the site, so hopefully I won't be completely lost in a fog of aircraft types talking about things I don't understand :PDT_Xtremez_21:

Hello and welcome. I used to be a radar fitter but finally saw sense!
