Has anyone else heard that ATLAS have said they can't afford to run the 1st and 2nd line support for DII as they are today. So they putting more manpower into IHUBS to support this ?

Not sure that's a good thing or a bad thing....

Have seen some pretty useless iHubs, and anything they can't do or that takes them ages, they blame it on Atlas. If they get additional power, who are they going to blame things on?? :PDT_Xtremez_42:

I heard that 90SU will be sending small teams on exercise to each Ihub around the world to supplement the sections.

The MoD are renegotiating the contract extension with Atlas. This may mean some work coming back to MoD but also 'frees' up money that can be spent of other items within DII i guess like the Quick Wins.

Oh joy, more teaching from the masters that brought us SUNSET. If a team ever comes to teach you please don't ask them constructive questions as they tend to get annoyed.

I wonder if this'll get an Op name, y'know just to justify their existence.

Any negotiations with MoD are tricky at the moment as they've brought the shutters down on the exchequer until May...it's common practice in an election year to stop outgoing parties putting in silly orders out of badness and to get the books straight.

from what i have heard on the grapevine the DATO and the DII catalogues will be rolled into one catalogue and users will be able to order anything and will be delivered to LSO on section if its hardware. It will be audited by budgets. so think IHUB future is sketchy as you can just have TSA's on sections looking after their own pages.
