Having recently completed ILMC (really good course) I'm awaiting feedback from CMI as to whether or not I have acheived the grade for what I beleive to be a level 4 award and a level 5 certificate (that might be the other way round) and was wondering what this actually equates to. I have had a look on the website but haven't been able to find anything out.

I only post as I'm looking at starting a Leadership and Management foundation degree anyway and was wondering if they're the same thing. I've been told by more than one person that you do obtain a foundation degree from ILMC. I can't see how two weeks at Halton equates to 2 years study though. I popped into the education center this afternoon and they really don't know. My next port of call will be the actual Uni the course is being run through but thought I'd get a head start on here over the weekend.

Any thoughts?

Stuck!

Level 4 is equivalent to a HNC or the first year of a bachelor's degree and Level 5 is equivalent to a foundation degree.

For completing IMLC you get 13 credits at Level 4 and 7 credits at Level 5. You need 300 credits for a bachelor's degree or 360 credits for a degree with honours.

So, to answer your question, IMLC is accredited at being the same level of difficulty as a degree but you need to do a few more courses to get your BA(Hons).

For more info, follow the link. Then tell your education centre where to find it too!

At last someone that knows what they're talking about. Cheers for that followed the link and it explains everything...thought it was to good to be true!
