IMLC - quals?

Hey all,

Re: IMLC and the quals you can get from doing the course.

Apparently there are 2 award bodies; CMI and ILM, both awards are at cost (obviously!).

Any thoughts on who best to go with? ie which (if any) look better to future employers. Any give letters after name? (that mean something anyway!)

You'll get all the information Week 1, Day 1 from both awarding bodies. You don't need to register with either or both there and then, you can apply for it after course by providing proof of completion (certificate). The DS will not sway you either way on which to go with.

I didn't register with either. I'd have a look through job specs you would potentially be thinking of applying for in a few years (not 10 years as it'll be worthless by then) and see what they're after. Alternatively you could look at FE requirements where you may be able to use accredited ILM/CLA qualifications towards a higher one and pick one which could help out.
