Internet explorer problem

I use firefox as my browser but I have an annoying problem at the moment and need some advice how to solve it.

Whenever I click the email link in msn messenger it opens in internet explorer, which is quite annoying, because then every link from that point also opens up with a web browser i have deliberately chosen not to use.

Does anyone know of a way to prevent this happening?

Click start, control panel, internet options, programs

From there theres a drop down list of which email system you use, change it accordingly.

Also uncheck bit at bottom about IE checking to see if it is the default browser

I know what your on about, there is a solution, but it requires third party add-ons to MSN Live Messenger.
