Alright there E-goaters?

I'm currently at sunny Leuchars, havn't PVR'd yet, unlike the rest of my Sqn. Think I'll hang in there for a bit yet. It's not the same as it was, (No good dets, More OOA, JPA and chasing the flying hours with half the manpower and no tools/test equip. ) but it's still better than the worst job I ever had so....

Watch this space.

:PDT_Xtremez_30: Welcome to the Goat Pan-trash.
Just been down your way and heard about all the PVR's....much the same as up north that is. But you shouldn't be short of tools or test equipment, that sounds like poor management of your own kit! I have passed on some gen about tools to an FS down there so that will be getting looked at soon I would think:PDT_Xtremez_14:

Evening PT and welcome to the goat :PDT_Xtremez_30:

I would stay and waffle on more but I don't want to bore you and I have a very early morning tomorrow, well it is for me anyway ::P:

nice to hear its all doom and gloom up your way, Ive got 8 weeks untill Iam posted up there to AMF, mind you it's just the same down here, ooa, no spares, no kit etc, todays modern raf, the air force on a shoe string

Yeah pretty sure it's RAF wide, everyone is feeling the pinch.

Up here though everyone is pretty much guaranteed a job offshore, any (aircraft) trade, Without having to move. So guys are leaving every day. 5 of 8 O.R.s on my shift. The NCOs are biding their time to keep their pensions.

I get sea-sick, so I'm staying put. After all Our Jengo said

"It can't go on like this, It HAS to get better"

The tool/Test equip thing was our kit being sent to and from India. By Boat. With the other Sqns on Det also.

For some bits of kit, none on Stn. For seeable future, we were raising red snows cos we couldn't test the systems.

Bless em.
