Just found this e-goat forum whilst blasting the past thru facebook

Thought I'd join up and see what bull is still passing around the good ole mob.

Asa quick intro I did my service (12 yrs) when the service was a bit bigger in the 80's and early 90's before the big reduction.

Served at Staxton on a watch as a JAFAD Mech on T84 (spent many a night on fire watch), HF200 and the old T64 DBU, then moved onto Rapier after doing my Fitters (26FAD) at Locking, with a short skint on the hounds at Wyton (25 sqd B flt)

Saw time at Wildenrath (16 sqd RAF Regt) and BZN (19 sqd RAF Regt) played in Cyprus when the biggest beach party went on in 90.

And got to see the Penguins in the FI as part of RRS (3 times)

Now regulaly pulling up a sandbag and banging on the lantern whilst volunteering as a uniformed ATC adult volunteer,

Welcome Wrinkly, by the sounds of it wasn't too far behind you at Staxton though I worked on the DBU for the 91/93 in the R12 but I believe it was the same gear you worked on i.e. Mixers and Def Amps and Video Map generators (One you never forget the first time you De-bollock one DT_Xtremez_42
