I am having trouble syncing my iPhone, for some reason when i sync it will only let me put the songs I have downloaded onto it on there and it leaves all the others that I have selected off ie. songs on iPhone 76...songs I want on there 1600+

I have the latest software update & I have restored back to factory settings.....I have even tried to do it on my old laptop but it will not let me put all the music I want on there.

I think the worst part is the great stuff that is sat on my laptop was not the stuff that came across I wanted Foo Fighters and I got the wife's Beyonce!!!!

Any ideas on what to do apart from finding some 14 year old work experience kid to fix it?

With the iPhone connected and iTunes opened:
  • With the phone selected in the Left Nav bar, select the "Summary" Tab
  • Ensure "Sync only ticked songs and videos" has tick
  • Select the "Music" tab
  • Ensure "Sync Music" is ticked
  • Ensure Selected playlists, artists, albums and genres" is selected.
Select the music you need. Hope that helps. (iTunes is, without a doubt, one of the worst pieces of software I've ever used!)

Sorted it.....I got a geeky mate to have a look...it was something to do with moving files from hardrive to new laptop or something, but it works...so all good
