As you may be aware, m trying to rejoin the RAF as a supplier. After initially being rejected, they are now going ahead with my application.
So, after basic supply, will I be able to apply to join TSW? or possibly another tactical/deployable posting for supply?
In my 6 years previous supply service, I wasnt in TSW.
But now I really want to be in a deployable, tactical job.

I dont know much about the various roles of supply these days. I guess its changed massively in the 10 years Ive been out.
So any info, or web addresses I could find out some info would be very welcome.
Is there anyone I could ring for info?
Would it be worth contacting the training cell for supply at Halton?

many thanks

try this number, should be TSW Admin at Stafford 01785 787598, they should be able to answer your question hopefully!!

As far as i know, its not possible to apply straight from Halton...i applied when i got to my first unit, and it took about a year or so and an OOA to basra to get posted there.

Not 100% positive on this but Halton will know...or TSW admin. Suppliers (but I think it involves all trades) have to be 'Q OPs' nowadays before they can be DWR'd. I'm sure the wing falls into this catagory as well doing what they do and where they do it. :PDT_Xtremez_15:

Dont know if you have found this out yet but you cant join the wing straight out of training ( for supply). You usually have to do at least a year in normal unit and i have your SAC up. Think it usually takes about 2 yrs from leaving training to get on the wing. If you want anymore info PM me and i can get you all the gen as im on the wing at the mo.
