I thought Utd were tremendous in the first half, but Chelsea were better in the second. Well done to the Reds, especially to someone like Scholes who just gets on with his football, none of that celebrity sh!te.
 
Being neutral, I really didn't mind who won it. I did feel sorry for John Terry, but Drogba was an idiot and Chelsea while playing excellent football in the second half, didn't stop complaining.
 
As a neutral I thought it was a brilliant game. Man U probably just deserved it because of their first half perfomance. There must be a better way than penalties though but I can't think of it!
 
I find it strange that John Terry can bang a football through a 37 inch Samsung TV dressed in a suit but can't bang a ball through a 24 foot wide goal :)

I'm not a Utd fan, but Chelsea's constant hystrionics every time a foul/offside/throw-in/goal kick go against them are a disgrace and whilst some of Utd's players complain, they do have several players (Scholes, Giggs) who just get on with the game and are never seen whinging.

At least none of them can whinge about the referee costing them the game - that rests squarely on the shoulders of John Terry, but I bet there wont be a complaint from Ballack, Drogba et al that he cost them the game!

Well done Utd.
 
Yeah although its almost impossible to type the words, ManU probably deserved to win on the night.
But, was it relief that saw Ronaldo face down in the turf seemingly sobbing at the end, or the unfamiliar feeling of humility having been the only Utd to player to miss his pen because he tried to be too clever. :PDT_Xtremez_42:
Although, to be fair, he did score an OK goal in the match ::P:

But, in a few short weeks time they'll be kicking off again all across Europe in the 08/09 CL tournament. Barely time to clean the trophy off before its being competed for again. Is this the competiton in which there is the shortest time in between the winner lifting the trophy and next seasons competition starting again?

Best CL final I can remember seeing. I thought it was a cracking game, finishing up with the champions of a country actually winning the champions league! How novel.
