Hi, Does anyone know of, or have the information to hand with regards to the policy if such a policy exists for Fertility treatment in the Royal Air Force. Were not really interested in the funding side, just time off/welfare once treatment has commenced. Thanks

The only thing I have seen ref IVF in black and white is that you can apply for Preferential Treatment whilst your wife is undergoing treatment. I would suspect that mainly covers no postings during the process to keep you close to the clinic but you are not guaranteed to get it anyway. As for time off for scans etc that is down to your section for a few hours off as medical appointments. You will only have to put in an appearance at the egg collection to do your bit and drive the missus home afterwards and you are supposed to stay with them for the rest of the day so that's a day off required rather than a couple of hours.
