JJB Scotland Press Release....

We at JJB Scotland are pleased with the 2010 world cup draw. The fact that England have not drawn any of the English opponents from the 2006 World cup mean our replica shirt sales will increase especially USA, Algeria and Slovenia...

As a proud Englishman I was especially pleased we did not find ourselves in a group with Scotland for the 2010 finals!:PDT_Xtremez_30:

i read online yesterday and i quote from the BBC site "the draw means england are unlikely to meet Argentina until the finals" :PDT_Xtremez_42:

i dont follow football I'm more a rugby man but after an arrogant statement like that it will be amusing when they get booted out.
last time they were bound to win because they wore red shirts (same as 66) and the time before that they were going to win because the were wearing suits from Burton's (same as 66).
whats the reason this time ?:PDT_Xtremez_34:

But we've won it one more time than Scotland have, so that's okay....:PDT_Xtremez_14:

I always enjoy looking at the sorry English faces when they get knocked out after weeks of proclaiming "we can win this"...:PDT_Xtremez_14:

So what, you actually have to make the finals to even say "we can win this", something the Jocks haven't done for a quite a while LOL.

Like 'Ally's Tartan Army' in 78 you mean? :PDT_Xtremez_42:

I remember a song from the time:

'God curse you Scottish gentlemen for such a poor display'
'When you set out to rule the world your feet were made of clay'
'And what with drugs and swollen heads you threw the cup away'
'Oh-Oh-OhOh tidings of Ally McLeod, Ally McLeod, Ally McLeod - OhOhh tidings of Ally Mcleod'

The Scotch are starting up again. Sorry losers with huge chips on their shoulders. I must apologise to you for the English being a better nation.
I think I know why the Scotch have an inferiority complex.

You're inferior.

It must be really hard being a Jock, only having a life every 4 years! Waiting like a child waits for christmas for their one & only pleasure in life.
Ho ho ho Merry Christmas to all the non Scotch folk 

I particularlly like David Moyes's answer to the Sky Sports news question posed to him before the world cup draw.

"So David who would you like to see in Englands group?"

"Scotland":PDT_Xtremez_30:

Quality.

Stop Press....
In a leaked internal memo JJB Sports (Scotland) have tried to create the 3 in one World cup strip for sale in it's Branches in Scotland.

"Due to our Scottish patrons being fiscally prudent we at the marketing department have come up with the idea of combining the USA, Algerian and Slovenian replica kits into one shirt. We believe that this will allow our financially restrictive Scottish customers the opportunity to purchase one shirt instead of three. To ensure we lose no money through this move we will increase the price of any other teams shirt that England may play accordingly. We are therefore hoping Portugal get knocked out in the group stage or we will lose at least on match worth of sales."
