It seems to be regularly advertised over the last few years. I personally don't think the money is worth it, especially if you are paying tax on it. I seem to remember they wanted you to sign up for a year or 2! You can pick up a job earning that amount in the UK, especially in the South East/London, even these days. I suppose it all depends what your circumstances are.

As I remember tax man requires 2 complete tax years (April 5-April 4) out of country to qualify tax free, 60 days max return to UK in the first year, 90 days beyond that.

If it's a monkey job in a bunker, then its equivalent of a £70K UK salary, as you say, it depends on your circumstances. Personally I would want a big gun!
