If you have good Radio/Telecomms skills. Its out there. I receive the below about 4 or 5 times a day for locations worldwide.

see extract below---->>>

I need the following for a 6 month contract in Cairo paying $6000 a month +
acc and flights maybe a little more for the right person... If interested
please send a resume ASAP.

Back Office RNC Senior Engineer 6 Months ASAP (
within September 2007) * Technical and General qualifications

2. Technical Qualifications ( RNC Senior Operations Engineer)
- This job is a network operation job
- Candidate should have between 6-10 years " Network Operation experince
" in BSS/Radio Area( BSS, RNC, Transmission)
( no candidate should be submitted less than 6 years working (
operation) experince under this area) ( 6 years BSS/RNC)
- Candidate should have minimum " 3 years" worked experince in " RNC
Operations"
- Ericsson Network operation experience is required

However these agents will always submit your CV if they think the client will be favourable towards you & they will always look at guys who will take a rate drop for the experience/foot in approach...OK 6000$ pm is not a great deal...esp for the location. I personally would ask for more.

Just to give the TG3 boys an idea....

Jobs/Contracts

It seems a lot of you boys (and girls) are not very happy in the bouncy castle.

If you are looking to get out, or out VERY soon and come from a suitable Radio/comms arena. Then you maybe interested in the contract positions that are out there and come my way (Im very happy here in Bavaria. New house/8month old baby boy etc etc...so im not looking to move some time soon)

If your interested, then PM me and i can furnish you with the contact details for the Agencies. However if you are interested and want to take the roles, then please dont expect me to give you a rec...cos i wont. i have seen a lot of very good engineers, give references to guys on the basis of nothing then the guy who takes the role is a bag of sh*t...your reputation is only as good as the person you recommended....remember that + as Radio/comms engineers we dont have a good rep across mainland Europe.

If your of an Army/Navy persuasion...dont bother. Im not anti either....but the ex ones ive worked with, or close to have generally been clusrtf*cks.

See below for the one i received yesterday:
Hi

My client is looking for two 6 month contractors for Microwave Transmission
Engineers based in Lithuania
. The right candidate must have extensive
microwave transmission experience on the test and integration side - this
role is to start as soon as possible.

If you are interested in the above positions or know of anyone suitable
please do not hesitate to contact me.

Dont know the package/rate. Sometimes they include them...sometimes not. For a good Transmission I&C guy you should expect to pull in minimum 6000 euros per month Average around 7000 per month...down to negotiation though.

As already mentioned. PM me if interested.

Any TG3 boys interested...pop in.

To all.

To all.

To the person who mailed me (PM).

I dont keep a Db of employment agencies. The ones that you see are directly mailed requests.

I just post a few on hear every so often...otherwise it would turn into a full time job for me.
