Joint Ops Rooms

Currently at RAF Aldergrove, JHF(NI) Ops is staffed by RAF & AAC personnel. The system does work (in a fashion!), but as we are fast approaching the end of Op BANNER, and the Army are pulling out their Lynx helicopters from Province to deploy to sunnier climes, I was wondering if there are any other Joint Ops Rooms out there?

Things are going to get a lot quieter over here, but we are still going to maintain 24hr Ops. So, choices are OU Degree to do at work or get posted to somewhere where things actually happen!!

I bet the water's warmer than it is here!! (Lukewarm at best in Aldergrove!)

Waiting to see how I fair on the JATCC Board before 're-evaluating' my options!!

Doing a SNCO job as a Cpl & getting all the crap that goes with it - arthritis, gout, amneisa (sp), etc...

I'll bear that in mind then! Heard on the grapevine that the results of JATCC Board will be announced on 8th August - and we're having a Dining-In Night that evening...
