Being a douche bag I am not too hot on this JPA lark and now I have to put an expense claim in I am even more useless than I thought, so if I may just ask a quick question please:

I obtained authority to use my own car to attend a week long course and now I have to submit a claim via JPA...when I put it in do I do 2 lines - one for outward and one for inward or put the whole mileage on one line with one date?

It was also a PAYD unit so I guess other than the incidentals I can't claim anything else?

thanks very much:S

You should use two lines as it relates to two different days.

What about IE?

If you are in doubt, there is always the online "how do I" tutorial within the JPA Expenses menu that you could work through.

Didn't want to start a new thread as my question is very similar.

I am doing a degree thats being funded by the RAF and I have to attend 2 weekends and 2 weeks a year, previously I was using a service vehicle for this as I was using a service dog for it, now I am not so I will be using my own car - not a problem for claiming fuel or anything but I wanted to check because next time I go I'm using leave to make it easier as I'm on leave beforehand and will be travelling from elsewhere in the country.

Can I make these sorts of claims (fuel, overnight subs etc) if I'm on leave?

I have no idea as to the answer to your question Tats, but what kind of degree are you doing that required the use of a Service dog? I really am stumped.

For difinitive advice on the submission and maximum pay out of expense claims you would be best adviced to ask your local M.P.!!:PDT_Xtremez_42:

A canine one, he was due to be retired and I didn't have a pet dog at the time (as I was going to take him on)
