Now that we've all got to grips on how to do the basics like look at how much we've been paid and put leave in, does anyone know how far away we are from being able to do it from home? Internet access was promised back when JPA was rolled out - how long ago now???

Hi m8,

JPA internet access has been available for years now, You need and IASS account you get a id card thing and an ecard reader, u can log into JPA from website www.mod.uk then you can access JPA from anywhere. I have had it for over 3 years now.
There are serveral things you cant do on it like view SJARS ect but you can do most important thing put in leave LOL

Contact your HR department mate think all you to do is fill in a form and hey presto.

The story I heard was that they had changed their minds on that one because of the security implications.

It is possible, as mentioned above. Not full access, but enough to do expenses and leave.

You have to apply through your resident HR friends, and it's normally limited to those personnel who do not have access to the intranet at their workplace.
