Do we have any blue suits at Glasgow these days, civvies are useless when trying to sort out the wife's P45, different people tell her different things, i.e its been in the post, then she is still on active service and the latest is that she was on SF as they have no record of any military service! Tax office has now started court proceedings, which they dont seem bothered about.

Yes they do, however they are pretty damn hard to get hold of.

The one that I managed to speak with was as much use as a chocolate fireguard too.

There are some 'suits' at Glasgow but I think they're multi-coloured - or 'Joint' to use the parlance of the day - I had an issue when I left last month and was dealt with by an army major after I submitted a complaint - see PM mate.

A Sqn Ldr, a WO and a couple of TG17 on loan to clear the backlog. Talk abounding about establishing a couple of TG17 Sgts. Hey I've got an idea, lets staff it with blue suits and call it.............Airmens/Officers Pay! Your Chf Clk should have an "in" - officially to the JPA Focal Point, unofficially to the WO!

That doesn't seem to be the fact up here at ISL, niether Chf Clk nor OC PMS had an "in" at the end of last month when I left after 28 years service and had a problem with final pay.

Of course the official line is that your salary concerns are a matter between you and JPAC. I know...........it sucks. Quite frankly I cannot and will not defend what amounts to sh*t admin by an organisation more interested in meeting targets than in customer care. Rant over. Did you get it sorted?
