Hi guys, I'm Ian Edwards, aka Eddy on some camps, Iggy on others and I think I finally made 'Ian' on my final posting to St. Mawgan. Started as an Air Sig, did the AEOp course at Topcliffe. Flew in all the old aircraft: Anson, Prenthawk, Lanc, Sunderland, Lincoln, Valetta. Thought I'd escaped Coastal Command but after Manby.....Shackletons, Shacks and more Shacks, T4, 1 to 111 inclusive:PDT_Xtremez_25: Served from Feb.55 to Feb 65.
Over on John Cooper's (also unofficial) RAF Forum we've been hassled by MOD for breaching copyright, viz the roundel and other "intellectual copyrights" owned by the Secretary od State. I wrote a "yours disgruntled" to my MP, who passed it on to the Minister for Defence Personnel and Veterans. Himself's letter passed to me by my MP and in it he says the title "RAF Forum" is misleading and could be mistaken for an Official site. He quoted this forum - and here I am, referred to you by the Rt. Hon. Andrew Robathan, Minister for old barstewards once in hairy blue!!!:PDT_Xtremez_19:
