I'm just having a good snoop about to see what's going on, lots and lots of comments about loadsa stuff, oh, where to begin, lol. I haven't got very much to say at the moment, so will just float around for now and see what 'Gets My Goat' pmsl.

Was looking at the Wifes bit and noticed that someone called airforcewife or something like that seems to be getting a bit bullied. To me it looked like she was just trying to support the other wifes who don't want to go to Marham. We have been posted there and at 1st we were not too keen but decided that we would make it an adventure and make new memories. I can see where she's coming from but also see the passion in the responses. Maybe Marham is okay, I can't comment yet, but maybe some people have valid reasons for not wanting to go. I know some of the RAF guys don't want to go and are PVRing, so I don't think it's fair of them to bully her in there.
Have I spoken out of turn? If so I apologise profusely.
 
Bullied??no..she jumped into this forum with both feet in her gob..this forum is a close knit place and shouting the odds in here when you dont introduce and you are gonna get stomped on especially with the crud she was coming out with.There arent that many wives on here so she was in the wrong place for all her whineing.No point whineing in here about postings etc..as its a fact of service life.

Think you'll find it was the way she put her posts that upset people mo1, they came across as arrogant and that immediatly put peoples backs up. No you haven't spoken out of turn and welcome to the goat.

Dont worry about it. If you hadnt spoken out of turn someone would have noticed! Always remember, if you are gonna put your foot in it, you might as well put them both in it!

I see what you mean, I think she was probably just wanting to get it off her chest, but really should have held back a bit 1st eh?
I don't know many people who are happy about the posting to Marham, but hey ho, not a lot you can do is there except get on with it.
I'm heading for the Saddle Club when I get there, I see on their website they want helpers! That should keep me outs mischeif for a while.
Oh and shopping trips to London of course!
But seriously, can't help feeling sorry for her, perhaps just said what a lot of wives are felling right now, but as you say, too much too soon eh?
