Looks like Denis Wise is being lined up to replace Keegan. SkyBet have Wise at 4/1 to be next Skunks manager.

Incidentally, betting has been suspended on Keegan leaving Sid James' Park by most bookies, whilst BetFair are giving odds of 2/5.

It wouldn't suprise me though the bet men have a history of getting stuff like this wrong. (remember Moyes to go a few short weeks ago?)
Another sorry chapter for loony toon?

Albert you and Capt Slog must be loving this. Will he go faster than the chairmans pint did at the weekend?

You couldn't make it up. The minute Cock-eyed Wise came on the scene I thought 'Aye-aye, this could be interesting'. For the world's 8th biggest club they deserve better.

Well, thats him gone. Great. Another farcical merry go round with the toon. King Kev said he didn't want James Milner to leave and when the bizarre back room (seemingly led by dennis wise wobbly eyes) sold him, I thought the end was nigh.

Mike Ashley has no idea what he's doing. That Dubai group were sniffing at the Toon before having to settle with the blue side of manchester, watch them go now!

Sacked?

Sacked?

So he may have been sacked, so sky say......
They want someone who can provide stability.....
Denis Wise or Shearer?
or Moyes

How about Barton ? if he is not allowed to play?

Would be happy with Dave Moyes, all wobbly eyes dennis wise has done is bimble along with dirty leeds before becoming mike ashleys snivelling "yes" man / cretin and Alan Shearer won't want the job for if he takes it and doesn't do well he will instantly lose the "hero" status he holds (and the nice bar on the Gallowgate end - does a damn fine carling premier).

Its incredible how the media spin these things, the other day it was "a good start to the season with 4 points from 2 difficult games and a good win against bolton" and now its "a miserable start with only 4 points from a possible 12". Wakners.

He would be too sensible an option anyway, we'll no doubt go for some bizarre "quick fix" merchant, pay him an absolute fortune and send him packing by February anyways.

Who in their right mind would put up with the back room ar5ing about that mister ashley has brought to the club? Director of player recruitment? eh?

I'm sure that a manager once used to train the team, pick the team, buy players that they want, sell players that they dont and keep players that they need.

Am I wrong?

You can have Paul Jewell.

Scouse cnut don't know how to win a game!

Good point FS (rather amusing too), even I'm getting tired of this mess and having to constantly explain to the lad why to support the Toon circus / farce instead of the usual Man U / Chelsea / Liverpool bandwagons that young 'uns all over the country are jumping on with gusto.

GEM - I think you'll find that Paul Jewell masterminded his best premier league win against.... Newcastle. Still think we'll pass on him mind.

That was Mad dog Billy Davies, PJ hasn't won a league game since he's been manager at Derby, the useless cnut!

In all fairness he inherited a sh1te squad. I was at the game Saturday and we trounced the Tykes in football terms but lost 2-0.

I give him till the end of September to get some good league results and then we'll get Big Sam.:PDT_Xtremez_35:

I stand corrected! All I remember is that I got Setanta sports added to my Sky specially for that match thinking "should see a few goals today". Money well apent!
