Hi, it's been 12 years since life in a blue suit ended and, as usual, hindsight tends to ease the pain and frustration of what prompted me to leave so close to a pension after 17 years. So, bad bits forgotten, I've realised just how much of my time was good, how much I miss the guys I worked with and how much I miss the banter.
I did the usual Tornado TG1 circuit, Cottesmore, Bruggen, Honington, Lossiemouth and Coningsby and a million places inbetween armed only with a handful of rates and a kit bag.
I've spent the last day or two looking over the site with nostalgia and whisky and it seems my sort of place.
Glad to be here, at last.
