I have been lactose intolerant and to a degree wheat intolerant for about 10 years now and I have never reported it as I found out from a testing centre when dealing with another problem.
I have just come back from OOA and whilst deployed I was told I should never of been in theatre due to it as I should be permanently downgraded. It never gave me any problems as I learn to live with it.
I find this hard to believe and a little worrying. I have just been selected for promotion and hoping to get back on a SQN that frequently deploys.
Can anybody confirm this as I am very reluctant to bother the medics with it and possibly limit my future.
Many thanks.
